Curera hospital bed pads features

Hospital bed pads strong enough to turn on

In a hospital, the underpad does two jobs: it absorbs, and it is the sheet nurses grab to slide a patient up the bed or roll them onto their side. Chucks MAX is built for both. A 145 gram Advanced+ polymer bead core holds up to ten times what a standard pad holds, and the backing is tear-resistant enough to reposition an adult of up to 400 lb without ripping.

MAX pads are plastic-free and quiet, with a fluff core and heat-sealed non-woven edges, so there is no crinkle under the sleeper and less sweat than with plastic-feeling pads.

MAX or MAX+?

Both share the same strength and LeakLock layers. MAX+ adds an oval-patterned, super-soft top sheet that runs edge to edge, for sensitive skin or for someone who spends most of the day in bed. MAX comes in 30x36, 36x36 and the jumbo 40x40; MAX+ comes in 36x36 as a 10-pack and a 40-pad case.

When to step up from a standard underpad

Choose a MAX pad when a single void soaks through a standard pad, when the sleeper is heavier or very restless, after surgery or a stroke, or whenever the pad is also used as a draw sheet. Many caregivers keep Chucks Premium for chairs and daytime use and MAX for the night.

Chux bed pads for adults: matching absorbency to the night

Disposable chux come in a wide variety, from light absorbency pads for chairs to premium underpads built for heavy incontinence. Chucks MAX sits at the top: a large, breathable pad for incontinence care where fluid volume is high and odor control matters. Where light protection is enough, Chucks Premium disposable underpads are the lighter, more economical option.

MAX pads also protect furniture and other surfaces: recliners, couches and commodes. Used with adult diapers or incontinence pads worn in the brief, a MAX underpad on the bed adds a second layer of protection and comfort, so you are not changing the whole disposable bed setup after one leak. If you are not sure which fits, try the 10-pack of MAX+ before a full case and find the size that fits your bed.
